Annual Sock Burning Party and Swap Meet
We will be joined this year by the GlenMar Sailing Association or Middle River
When: May 16, 2026 1:30-4:30pm
Location: music/food/drinks at Pool Gazebo Area; sock burning at boat ramp
The Yacht club will provide soda, beer, wine and burgers and hotdogs
Swap Meet Sponsored by GlenMar Sailing Assoctiation:
Bring boating items to give away or sell. Tables and tags will be provided.
Ryzing Sun Acoustic Duo will play 1:30-3:30
Request each family bring a side dish or dessert to share (and a package of new socks to donate)
Take a break from getting your boats ready and come down and meet new people or catch up with old friends. BPYC apparel will be on sale (check or exact cash preferred)
Wear your socks that you plan to burn at the event. Additionally, we will donate socks to a shelter, so please bring a package of new socks that we can donate. (Socks are one of the most needed items in homeless shelters)
As you remove your socks and throw them in the fire, you may make a wish or blessing for the season ahead
